Holding Reverence

In nature, nothing exists alone.

-Rachel Carson (Silent Spring)

This work is intended to evoke wonder, prompt questions, and promote a sense of connection and belonging.

The objects are remnants and representations of the natural world. The images are meant to encourage consideration of the intricate relationship between humans and the ecosystem in which we live. My art practice addresses issues of stewardship, sustainability, and kinship.

We are, as a society, experiencing a prevalence of disconnection from our environment, as well as from each other. This work is inspired by the need for preservation of collective wellness, compassion, and conservation of our natural resources.
